APP Now Available!

ASETS is pleased to announce that the smartphone app in support of the MISIN project is now available for free.

The MISIN smartphone app, available for both iOS and android devices, provides a mobile solution for the capture of invasive species field observation data. You can play an important role in the early detection and rapid response to new invasive threats in your area by contributing invasive species observations to the MISIN database.

  • Identify and report 250+ invasive plant and animal species
  • Capture and submit species observations from the field
  • Include images taken in the field with your observation
  • Browse images and species information on the top Midwest invaders

Download the app:

Internet:

  • Apple Itunes: MISIN – Report Invasive Species
  • Google Play: MISIN – Report Invasive Species

IPhone:

  • Click on the App Store icon.
  • At the bottom of the screen click on “Search”.
  • Type “MISIN” in the search bar at the top of the screen.
  • Select “MISIN – Report Invasive Species”
  • At the top right side of screen click on Install
  • Once installed, open app and click on Account at the bottom of the screen to Register or Log In (using your MISIN website log in information)

Android:

  • Tap on the Play Store icon (shopping bag).
  • At the bottom right of the screen tap on the magnifying glass.
  • Type “MISIN” in the search bar at the top of the screen.
  • Select “MISIN: Report Invasive Species”
  • At the top right side of screen click on Install
  • Once installed, open app and click on Account at the bottom of the screen to Register or Log In (using your MISIN website log in information)
