Travis Perkins has been working for ASETS since August of 2009. His primary focus in ASETS is on the Slow the Spread of the Gypsy Moth project. Prior to joining ASETS he worked as a Geospatial Analyst for Wiser LLC in Murfreesboro TN, and before that he worked for the Computational Ecology and Visualization Laboratory at Michigan State University as an Undergraduate Research Specialist.

Education:

Graduated with a B.A in Geography with a specialization in Geographic Information Systems from Michigan State University. Also is continuing his education by attending online courses at the ESRI training website.

About Travis:

Travis is still getting used to married life as he and his wife Christie just celebrated their one year anniversary in November of 2009. They recently just purchased a house that needs a little fixing up, so that and their dog takes up a majority of their free time.
