Profile: Travis Perkins

Travis Perkins has been working for ASETS since August of 2009. His primary focus in ASETS is on the Slow the Spread of the Gypsy Moth project. Prior to joining ASETS he worked as a Geospatial Analyst for Wiser LLC in Murfreesboro TN, and before that he worked for the Computational Ecology and Visualization Laboratory at Michigan State University.

Education:

Graduated with a B.A in Geography with a specialization in Geographic Information Systems from Michigan State University. Currently he is on track to graduate with a Master’s of Science in Geographic Information Systems from Michigan State University   in the Spring of 2013

 

About Travis:

Most of Travis’s free time is spent fixing up his house where it seems the work is never ending. When not doing that he enjoys hiking with his wife Christie and his two dogs Scout and Bailey.
